Come discover the Museum of the Resistance, at the heart of an old military fort!
The fort of Bondues was built in 1878 following the Franco-Prussian war. It is in this fort that 68 resistance fighters were shot during the Second World War. Today only one third of the original fort remains, including the Sacred Court where the executions took place.
The museum is entirely dedicated to the Resistance in the North of France, evoking the reasons for the commitment and refusal of the Occupation, the means implemented (sabotage, espionage...), but also the risks incurred and the repression by the German and French authorities.
To visit alone, with family or friends.
