Visit of the Fort of Mons

Being one of the best preserved forts of the 'stronghold of Lille', as it was designated during its construction in 1880, it is a hidden treasure in the city. Spared from conflicts, the fort has retained, with the exception of its cannons, its military attributes: its swing bridge, its caponiers, its powder magazines, its barracks.
This visit is offered on Saturdays 16 May, 13 June and 10 October from 10am to 12:30pm.
