Tour des Lucioles – Solidarity Night Walk
On the occasion of October Rose, the association BACKADOS invites you to participate in the Tour des Lucioles, a friendly and accessible night walk/race organized around the lake of Héron in Villeneuve-d'Ascq.
Beyond raising awareness about breast cancer screening, this event wishes to draw attention to the gender and sexual violence that women may suffer when practicing physical activity in public spaces. Together, let’s make our walking and running spaces places where everyone can practice freely and safely.
Before departure, an introduction to self-defense will be offered to all those who wish.
Each participant will receive an LED light bracelet to symbolically illuminate the course and create a warm and supportive atmosphere. A health supply will be offered upon arrival.
The event is open to everyone, with no level requirement. Come walk with family, friends or colleagues to share a moment of conviviality, prevention and solidarity.
A prevention stand around screening, led by the CPAM of Roubaix-Tourcoing, will be present from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
