Inspired by the world of work, this musical theatre show is nourished by ancient and contemporary texts, anecdotes, testimonies of poets and working-class poets. Poetic and political, it questions us about our need to work, about the history and future of working conditions and respect for the tasks accomplished. The music imagined and composed by Fred Gregson is inspired by gestures, hands on tools, repetitive rhythms of machines and conscious or unconscious songs of workers around the world.
