More than 300 works by 70 international women artists are investing the LaM for an extraordinary exhibition.
Singulières unveils artists who have long remained in the shadows: anonymous creators, self-taught, classified as art brut or freed from all categories. Inhabited works, abundant forms, intimate visions or gestures of revolt tell trajectories where creation becomes a space for emancipation and transformation.
Supported by the exceptional L'Aracine collection and numerous loans, the exhibition offers a sensitive journey that questions the place of women in art history, while revealing works of rare visual strength.
