Sunday 5 April, (re)discover the conservation methods of yesteryear with free demonstrations and tastings for all ages!

On the agenda:

  • Cheese tasting and explanations on its production with Sébastien Vermeulen, vice-president of the federation of cheesemakers of France.
  • Tasting/Demonstration of lacto-fermented foods
  • Tasting/Demonstration of jams and fruit jellies
  • Tasting/Demonstration of salting, smoking and drying meat

In the estaminet

Every first Sunday, a pianist animates the estaminet all afternoon by playing variety tunes on our 1880s piano. The association la Bergerie d'Antan sells drinks there to warm up. The sale is for the benefit of the animals.

Waffle workshop

Every first Sunday, you can make and enjoy a waffle with brown sugar according to a traditional recipe from the North!

Guided tours

Guided tours related to the theme are organized at 4 PM.

The farm animals

Every 1st Sunday, you can caliner and pamper the animals of the Sheepfold of Yesteryear installed next to the museum!
