Lucy lives alone with her mother, an invisible cashier, overloaded and overwhelmed. Together, they dream of seeing the sea, of leaving their small apartment.
Being on time is always complicated, but when the car refuses to start, this time, Lucy finds herself alone at the school exit. The supervisor, the director and the police officer try to help him, but each must deal with his personal concerns.
With tenderness and humor, the text addresses strong current topics: single-parent families, precariousness, our frenetic life... To relieve guilt, to know how to confide and take the time to breathe. To find in each one the share of humanity.
