The exhibition explores the role of women in tapestry making in Belgium between 1950 and 1970. At first legitimate, they become creative and renew the classic tapestry. Their research from the 1960s led to the emergence of Fiber Art in 1970, a reflection of an artistic evolution driven by social upheavals and feminism.
