The town of Villeneuve d'Ascq organizes with Cédragir information and awareness sessions for parents and young people regarding the risks related to the consumption of diverted nitrous oxide.
A recrudescence of uses is observed among middle school, high school and university students, with more frequent and more significant consumption, which can lead to serious health consequences.

Nitrous oxide is not a game

Immediate risks: asphyxia, loss of consciousness, burns, falls
Serious risks in case of repeated use: neurological damage, psychiatric disorders, cardiac risks
Mixing with alcohol or other substances increases the dangers

Activities provided by Cédragir, a medical professional and the municipal police.
