Permanence of the grainothèque at the Ferme d'en Haut
What is a seed library?
A seed barter system. The project is part of the idea of a reappropriation of the green spaces of the place by the inhabitants, concretized for several years by the shared vegetable garden CarréO.
Why?
Bartering allows one to get out of the market system, to offer all Villeneuvois seeds, to encourage gardening. It promotes autonomy in vegetable production and the preservation of biodiversity. The grainothèhque is part of the project for a nurturing city.
