To start the school year well, come and relive the festive atmosphere of village festivals of yesteryear! Fairground games, puppets, animals, giant bubbles, ponies and 19th century school await you for a weekend filled with laughter and discoveries.
Saturday
From 10am to 6:30pm – Wellouëj Fair
Enjoy the traditional games of Northern heritage all day long. Address, laughter and challenges for the whole family!
At 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. – Meeting with the animals
A guided tour in the company of our villagers in costume.
At 2 p.m. – The School of Yesteryear
From 8 years old. Slip into the skin of a 19th century schoolboy and discover the methods of teaching of yesteryear.
At 2:30 p.m. – Discovery of the School of Yesteryear
For children under 8. A version adapted for the youngest to discover the school of yesteryear while having fun.
At 3 p.m. – Guided tour
Guided by our villagers of the 19th century in costumes, go to meet places, stories and gestures of yesteryear. A walk out of time, punctuated by the stories and daily life of a village of the 19th century.
From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. – "Heritage Games" family break
A moment to share with the family around games such as the game of the 7 families of the museum or the goose game of the museum.
Sunday
From 10am to 6:30pm – Wellouëj Fair
Find the great games of yesteryear for young and old.
From 10am to 6pm – Traditional games with the company Sac à Dés
Free access games all day, accompanied by a facilitator to discover the rules and share a friendly moment.
At 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. – Puppet show
The company Théâtre à Matthi presents Jack and the Beanstalk.
From 10:30 to 12:00 and from 2:00 to 4:00 – Pony baptisms
With the Poney Club of Villeneuve-d'Ascq, for children from 2 to 8 years old.
At 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. – Meeting with the animals
Discover the animals of the Museum during a guided tour.
At 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – The School of Yesteryear
