Welcome to the Fig Garden! Small percussions, sound objects, tambourines, kalimbas, darbouka, bells, acoustic guitar... Let’s explore together the tessitura of these different instruments before improvising on Arab-Andalusian rhythms and Gnawa blues.

Attacafa, the universal nomadic scene
Fakir brings together musicians Marwan Fakir (violin), Louis Desseigne (guitars and saz) and Pierre-Antoine Despatures (double bass).
Coming from different musical traditions, they tame and confront each other, invent themselves and write together the story they want to tell us, telling us the boundaries and the borders.
The rituals, trances and lace melodies depict an imaginary world crossed by fulgurances, frictions, elicits of modernity and millennia-old traditions.
With their second album to be released in 2026, the trio weaves a new repertoire under the burning fire of a ruthless amp that makes certainties waver. The transes hmadchas, the feverish grooves and the tearing maqams take on a dreamlike appearance.
