From Friday 15 to 17 August, tribute to the great personalities of the North.
Sunday, test your knowledge on the big names and personalities that have marked our region through games, exhibitions, workshops. A concert will be given on Sunday at 3:30 PM.
Appointment: from 11am
Opening of the Museum at 10am
During these three days:
- Find the giant Ugène Tatez, whose real name is Eugène WATTRELIER, who was born in Lille on January 19, 1874, but lived in Forest most of his life.
- Play the little treasure hunt with a game booklet about the anecdotes of characters from the North.
- At 11am and 6pm: animal meetings. Accompany our villager to meet the farm animals! All public.
- At 2 PM and 4 PM: school of yesteryear about historical figures. Relive the 19th century school with the village school teacher. At your feathers and inkwells! From 8 years old.
- At 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM: discovery of the old school for those under 8 years old. The students will be able to travel among the desks and discover the school of the elders
Friday, August 15: - From 10:30 am to 5:30 pm: meet our villagers in costume to discover some personalities of the Nord Pas de Calais.
- At 3 PM: guided tour with a villager of the museum. Duration 1 hour.
- At 3 PM: lecture by Hervé Leroy on the people who made history. Duration 1h.
- At 4:30 PM: storytelling sessions.
Saturday, August 16: - From 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM: meet our villagers in costume to discover some personalities of the Nord Pas de Calais.
- At 3 PM: guided tour with a villager of the museum. Duration 1h
- At 3 PM: lecture by Hervé Leroy on the people who made history. Duration 1 hour. Followed by a signing session.
Sunday, August 17: - From 10:30 am to 6:30 pm: Meet our villagers in costume to discover some personalities of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais.
- At 11am and 3pm: guided tour with a villager of the museum.
- At 15:30: the Northern Song Duo - In a dynamic and playful orchestration, Antoine and Jojo share with us the truculence, humor and poetry of traditional songs from the North. With enthusiasm, each of these songs is a part of the cultural heritage of the Hauts de France, and are, for sure, an integral part of our heritage. Duration 1h30.

Saturday and Sunday: the association Zele Fer in the stable of Aumale.
Friday: Damien Sauzier, the art blacksmith.

Friday and Saturday: the Librairie des Lisières with its books on people from the North.
