Heir to the great African-American traditions, Jerron Paxton shapes a timeless blues, steeped in history and malice. A living jukebox, he plays, sings and tells stories with rare ease, between respect for the elders and taunting spontaneity.
With Things Done Changed, he signed an album of original compositions that seem to cross time, recalling the golden age of jazz and blues, when music was more than just entertainment: an act of resistance and transmission.
