The Renée van Denoordt fanfare celebrates its first decade of existence on Saturday, May 9, 2026. To mark this anniversary, the ensemble is partnering with Cric Crac to organize a day of festivities under the sign of unusual instruments, sound objects and popular education.
From 13h to 23h, the public is invited to discover a universe where music is created from the unexpected, recovery and experimentation.
A fanfare from the territory
Born ten years ago at the Lille CFMI under the leadership of Gael Bouyer, the Renée van Denoordt fanfare has forged a strong identity. Beyond her musical performances, she regularly integrates an educational dimension by offering instrument manufacturing workshops, allowing the public to become a sound actor during performances.
Rich and unusual programming
Throughout the day, several artists and collectives will follow one another to make surprising materials vibrate:

• Max Vandervorst: The famous musician and inventor will present his show “this is not a show”.
• Alfred Spirli: The “bruitologist” will unveil an unprecedented performance around a scarecrow.
• Mamiléna: A solo folk ball worn by a can violin and electronic devices.
• Plastic Boum Boum: The duo composed of Gael Bouyer and Stéphane Bordenez.
• The Zygophone: A musical exploration of plant life by Noémie Moal and her collaborators.
• Les Potes aged: A trio composed of Nico, Aurél and Louison.
  The group ados de Cric Crac: La Relève Musicale will also be part of the game.
  We will also have the pleasure of welcoming Jean Jeltsch, a figure of experimental lutherie at CFMI, as well as Muriel de Poorter.
  Life of the event and conviviality
  The event is a great solidarity and festive kermesse. On site, you will find:
• A bar offering local beers from the Bellenaert brasserie.
• A catering stand offering homemade falafels.
• A traditional mini-kermesse (hobby-all, pastry).
  Volunteer call
  For this celebration to be a success, we seek the help of our community. A volunteer table is available at the entrance of Cric Crac and online to register on different missions: Logistical help on D-Day, cake making, etc.
