Since April, the MuMo (Mobile Museum) is back and travels the European Metropolis of Lille with an exhibition specially designed for the 7th edition of lille3000 Fiesta. “Pump up the volume” explores the links between music and contemporary art.
The exhibition “Pump up the volume” resonates on the walls of the Mobile Museum. This truck becomes the physical and symbolic resonance box for some thirty works from the collections of CNAP, LAM and FRAC Grand Large – Hauts-de-France, Picardie and Franche-Comté.
The exhibition brings together a diversity of artistic forms (posters, videos, photographs, sculptures, drawings, paintings and performances) to explore how music passes through us and touches us. His ambition? Make the eye and the ear interact, whether you are sensitive to a melody or a tone, a piece or a canvas, an instrument or a plastic technique.
