Southern Italy, nap time. Maria, nicknamed the sister of Jesus Christ, crosses her village, a family pistol in hand, towards the house of Angelo le Couillon. Gradually the rumor spreads and the villagers gather behind it.
The sister of Jesus Christ is a story of violence and shame, the story of a young woman who publicly exposes her anger and determination and walks, under everyone’s gaze, to regain her dignity.
