a poem spoken for all (inspired by the life and work of Ladislaw Kijno (but not only!)

whoever we are, wherever we come from
whether we know each other or not,
whether we love or hate each other
right now, the fact is
the breath passes through us
[nø] it’s called "Noeux" like Noeux-les-Mines or "No!" like No Pasaran! or "our
knots' like the knots we have and make within and between us. [nø] it can also be called ingenious
because the fact is, we are all a little stupid.
[nø] it is a spoken poem and a visual poem painted live in phonetic, an unclassifiable form
open to the moment that is lived there. [nø] is a story inspired by the life and work of the painter Kijno and by the words of the inhabitants of Pas-de-Calais.
Nourished by ordinary faces and landscapes, Thomas’s poetry is at once dense and light, tender, harsh, tragic, funny, singular and universal.
[nø] is an ode to the breath, a work that helps us embrace the shadows and lights that trample through us. A pacifist and invigorating text addressed without any formal formalities to everyone.
