whoever one is, from wherever one is
whether we know each other or not,
that we love or hate each other
right now, the fact is
the breath passes through us
[nø] it is said 'Noeux' like Noeux-les-Mines or 'No!' like No Pasaran! or 'nos
knots' like the knots we have and do in and between us. [nø] it can also be called stupid
because the fact is, we are all a bit idiotic.
[nø] it’s a spoken poem and a visual poem painted live in phonetics, an unclassifiable form
open to the moment that is lived there. [nø] it is a story inspired by the life and work of the painter Kijno and by the word of the inhabitants of the Pas-de-Calais.
Nourished by ordinary faces and landscapes, the poetry of Thomas is both dense and light, tender, rough, tragic, funny, singular and universal.
[nø] is an ode to the breath, a work that helps to embrace the shadows and lights that trample us and pass through us. A pacifist and invigorating text addressed without fuss to all.
