Based on the novel Gentlemen Prefer Blondes by Anita Loos. The characters of women dissociating romantic love from the search for a husband are in vogue in the 1920s, as illustrated by the novel Les hommes préfèrent les blondes by Anita Loos. The adaptation in Technicolor by Howard Hawks features two emancipated revue dancers, traveling at the expense of a millionaire fiancé. Humor and the finesse of observation of society characterize the roles and replies of the two accomplices stars.
