On the occasion of the National Day of Tribute to the Harkis, the City of Villeneuve d'Ascq invites you to participate in a commemorative ceremony on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 6 p.m.
This ceremony will take place in the square des Anciens Combattants of Flers-Breucq, at the corner of avenue de Paris and rue Babylone. It will be an opportunity to pay tribute to the Harkis and to perpetuate the duty of remembrance.
Programme:

• Reading the ministerial message;
• Speech by Mr. Sylvain Estager, Mayor of Villeneuve d'Ascq;
• Laying of wreaths.
  At the end of the ceremony, participants are invited to a moment of conviviality during a reception organized in the Dardenne room.
