Relive that time! The Museum sets up a military camp retracing the defense of Lille in 1814 against the arrival of the Prussians on French territory: uniformed patrols, soldier’s school, battalion maneuvers and artillery firing demonstrations will punctuate the day for a total immersion in History.

For this day under the sign of living history, it is recommended that younger people wear helmets or noise protection during cannon and rifle shots, in order to fully enjoy the show with serenity.
At 10am: the patrols rush into the museum, the animations come to life freely along the aisles.
At 10:30 the staffs meet: strategies and preparations are outlined.
At 11 am: taking of arms in the square, near the estaminet: a solemn and impressive moment.
At 2pm: the soldier’s school opens its ranks: maneuvers, drills and educational exchanges invite the public to understand military daily life.
At 3 PM: the skirmish erupts, plunging the museum into the heart of the action.
At 4pm: the soldiers wander again in the museum, between meetings and demonstrations.

At 14:30: new skirmish, between tension and strategy.
At 4pm: animations and final wanderings to close the afternoon.
