Founded in 1875, the Catholic University of Lille extends over 10 hectares in the heart of the Vauban district. From the neo-Gothic style of the Hotel Académique with its gargoyles, turrets, pointed arches and pinnacles, to the resolutely contemporary glass atrium, its architecture is unique. During a visit, discover in particular the Academic Hotel, the Faculty of Medicine and its botanical garden, the University Chapel (observatory not visited).
