The HÉRONMAN is not a triathlon like any other. Inspired by the original distances of the Ironman, it can be experienced alone or in a team, with the possibility to share the effort between teammates. Here, there is no stopwatch: everyone moves at their own pace, taking the time for transitions, with only one collective constraint: to be back before midnight.

The formats

La Grande Aigrette
The ultimate challenge: 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling, 42.2 km running.
Heronman cendré
A duo half race to discover long distances: 1.9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, 21.1 km of running.
Purple Heronman
A friendly format to share with friends or colleagues: 950m swimming, 45km cycling, 10.5km running.
Héronkids
From 11 years old: 475 m swimming, 22.5 km cycling, 5.3 km running.
No team
The organisation can put you in touch with other participants of equivalent level.

Path
Between the cobblestones of the north, the mountains of Flanders and the landscapes of the nature reserve of the Parc du Héron, the course is demanding and spectacular.
Accessibility and Engagement
Affordable rates to allow as many people as possible to participate. La Grande Aigrette offers an Ironman format at a reduced price. The event is part of a responsible approach, with particular attention paid to reducing waste and environmental impact.
