Between the hammer and the anvil, blacksmiths from all over Europe will shape before your amazed eyes spectacular works of great magnitude. Appointment: from 10 a.m.

All the activities are included in the admission fee to the Museum.
A weekend in the heart of the world of blacksmiths. In the 19th century, in the countryside of northern France, the blacksmith held an essential place in village life. Fire keeper and iron master, he shaped agricultural tools, repaired plows, forged nails, locks, and signs. His workshop, punctuated by the breath of the hearth and the song of the hammer on the anvil, was a place of passage, exchanges and know-how transmitted from generation to generation.
Saturday:
From 10am to 12pm and from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm: day with the blacksmiths of the Zele Fer association who will work before your eyes and bring back to life the gestures of yesteryear: * Forging demonstrations: creation of wrought iron signs, Hot hammered * Exhibition of forged objects and video screening at the Esquelbecq barn. Participatory forge workshop: learn how to handle the hammer and forge like a real blacksmith. (Gallic-style forge installed in the museum’s garden) From 10 years old
From 10:30 am to 5:00 pm: visit of the Moulin de Vaudricourt with our millers and discovery of the floors of the Moulin de Vaudricourt, living witness of the work of grain and flour.
Like every 4th Saturday of the month: the small farmers of the Museum at 11am and 5pm and the animal meetings at 11am and 6pm.
From 11:30 to 2:00 p.m.: Egg collection alongside the former farmer.
At 3 p.m.: Churning workshop: Make your own butter the old-fashioned way.
At 4 p.m.: Donkey brushing
At 4:30 p.m.: Wheat sorting Participate in the grain sorting with the farmer.
At 5 p.m.: Farmers' straw. Help the farmer pick up the straw using vintage rakes, adapted to the size of the children.
At 3 p.m.: Guided tour of the Museum Meeting with our villagers in 19th-century costumes For all ages
From 3pm to 5pm: La Pause familiale: an invitation to slow down time, in the peaceful setting of a 19th century village, to disconnect and share animations and workshops, while fully enjoying privileged moments between parents, grandparents and children.
Sunday
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.: A day with the blacksmiths of the Zele Fer association. They are coming back for another day of demonstrations and sharing. Creation of wrought iron signs, under your eyes, exhibition of forged objects and videos at the Esquelbecq barn, a Gallic forge in the Museum’s garden
Participatory forge workshop: learn how to handle the hammer and forge like a real blacksmith. (Gallic-style forge installed in the museum’s garden) From the age of 10.
Animal meetings at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
