The AAVAL (association for friendship between Villeneuve d'Ascq and Leverkusen) presents the exhibition "From the treaty of the Elysee to the treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle", composed of 15 paintings at the Gilbert-Sailly gallery of the Dupire Farm. It was conceived on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Elysée Treaty, signed on 22 January 1963.
This exhibition puts in parallel the construction of the European Union and the evolution of the Franco-German relationship, initiated by strong political wills and strengthened over the decades by the commitment of civil society actors from both countries.
