In a slow procession, masked figures dance together. Bells hanging between their shoulder blades jingle with every movement. Choreographer Zwoisy Mears-Clarke invites the audience to a newly created folk dance, in which stories, dance and audio description are interwoven. Inspired by German masquerade traditions to drive away winter, this is a procession to disrupt the still-present local structures of colonialism.
