Sunday, January 10, 2027: Rubens and the glory of the Medici, by Edith Marcq
The museum of Cambrai, which preserves a remarkable set of works illustrating the famous cycle that Peter Paul Rubens dedicated to the life of Marie de Médicis, will honor it in an exhibition-event. In this context, the lecturer will compare the paintings preserved at the Louvre with those of the Cambrai museum, which bear witness to the influence of the master well beyond his studio, his influence spreading throughout Europe.
