Sunday, November 22, 2026: Mary Cassat’s choice of independence, by Marie Castelain
On the occasion of the centenary of the death of Mary Cassatt (1844-1926), the Musée d'Orsay is dedicating a retrospective on this American artist, friend of Degas and major figure of impressionism. His works lovingly celebrate the intimacy of women and children. Achieved by her talent and determination to forge a unique identity, she imposes herself through her luminous canvases and bold engravings in the history of art. Musée d'Orsay 6 October 2026 - 31 January 2027.
