Jessica93, alias Geoffroy Laporte, once again alone against all is building an abrasive and hypnotic shoegaze, between cold wave, noise rock and dark pop. Alternating guitar and bass, he erects saturated and visceral loops on which come to rest texts in French, dark, tender and sarcastic. Driven by a black, ironic and deeply sensitive poetry, his pieces unfold a universe both brutal and melancholic, where noisy textures meet haunted melodies. His new album "666 tours de périph", released last summer and produced by Arthur Satàn, confirms a sharp noise know-how.
Part 1: Seedy liars develops a dreamlike alternative rock between dark light and saturations, between floating atmospheres and abrasive guitars.
