Concert Histoire d'Eux

  • Musique

On the occasion of the music festival, the MEL Archives invite Histoire d'Eux to enchant you with their melodies and poetry.

Histoire d'Eux is the complicity of a violinist and an accordionist who envelop you in notes to take you away in a film whose scenes and story feed are invented by your imagination. The beating heart, the fluttering butterfly, the running child... each one composes his poem under water, in the air or on land.
The music of Histoire d'Eux is therefore characterized by its narrative nature, where each piece tells a story of their own, inspired by their mutual discussions and reflections on the world. They use musical themes to suggest ideas, sometimes explicitly through lyrics, or implicitly to stimulate the listener’s imagination.
The pieces played will be accompanied by a projection of photographs from the MEL Archives, which will highlight the poetry of music.
History of them: Jonathan Bois on the accordion and Antoine Marhem on the violin
Guests: Timothée Couteau on cello and Loïc Lantoine for the voice - poetry of everyday life
From 10 years old.
Duration: 1h20.
MEL Archives, 1 rue des Sciences, 59790 Ronchin. Free parking. Access by public transport with bus 18 (stop Defaux or Faidherbe), and Corolle 1 (stop Orée du Golf).
