The Camerata of Flanders
Founded in 2019 by the violinist Benjamin Boursier, the Camerata de Flandre is a young and committed string ensemble, bringing together twelve talented musicians from Hauts-de-France. Conceived as an artistic collective with a vivid imagination, the Camerata explores with passion a demanding repertoire open to its time, emphasizing listening, freedom of interpretation and musical dialogue.
Program: At the pace of the 4 seasons
We invite you on a journey to the heart of baroque Italy with a program dedicated to Antonio Vivaldi, undisputed master of the concertante style. You will hear the Symphony for strings in C major RV 113, then the Concerto for viola and cello RV 531, a real musical conversation between two soloists. Finally, the ensemble will perform The Four Seasons, a timeless masterpiece in which Vivaldi paints with evocative force the emotions and landscapes of nature’s cycles.
