In 19th century England, Mary is a young girl passionate about fossils, which she searches with her father on the beach, then sells them to tourists. The sudden death of the father throws the family into disarray: without a financial source, they will soon have to leave their house and even worse, for Mary, her beloved fossil beach. But before dying, his father left him a mysterious message that could lead him to upset many things...
