Screening of the documentary Les trognes, les arbres aux mille visages by Timothée Janssen (42 min), followed by an exchange, Tuesday 7 April from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Ferme du Héron.
Tadpoles, nipples, mugs, redheads, blunts, ragosses, coughs, chapoules... So many regional appellations that designate the trognes, these trees of various species whose upper part has been carved – like the legendary plane trees that lined the roads of the country since Napoleon. Dethroned by the changes in agriculture, they constitute a biological and cultural heritage of inestimable value that we rediscover today.
