On May 30 and June 6, 2026, as part of the exhibition Les Corps élastiques by Lucie Pastureau, the Institute for Photography is offering a two-part workshop, imagined and led by artists Juliette Huber and Edel Pradot, members of the collective Les Piñatas, aimed at teenagers.*
The workshop starts on May 30 by a writing time around the body and the intimate. Through guided proposals, participants are invited to explore the complexity of our bodies and the stories we tell ourselves about them, to try to reconcile with some of their parts, to heal our scars, to massage our narratives and to smile at what is transforming.
This writing time is followed by a workshop of creation of a fanzine on June 6. From texts produced, photographs, papers with varied textures and materials made available, each person composes a personal notebook, mixing images and words, in connection with the themes addressed.
Juliette Huber is a multidisciplinary artist. She navigates in her family legacies, baggage of silences and stories of migrations. She regularly leads intergenerational workshops that combine writing, movement and performance with children, students, groups of adults.
Edel Pradot is a choreographer, performer and author. Member of the MUES Collective, her next creation, Fem us, speaks specifically about relationship to the body. Within the Piñatas, Edel participates in editions, programs highlights of readings-performances and offers writing workshops and fanzines.
